I found the Help For Heroes Employability programme extremely helpful in preparing me for a new career, particularly the day run by Higher Futures. For the first time, I really understood the difference between the types of CV’s and importantly how to use them effectively in my job seeking. On returning home, I shared what I had learnt with my wife, and she re-wrote her own CV. Within hours of applying for a job, she was offered an interview, and after we practiced some of interview techniques, she got the job!
Following my attendance at the Employability workshop, I have finally been successful in getting a decent job. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to attend your course and found it so useful. This was the first interview offer I had after over 50 job applications. Thank you again to Amanda and Higher Futures, very much appreciated.

I have found the Higher Futures skills service outstanding, we worked well with Jo who really listened to what we wanted. The service and communication have been much better than we could have anticipated. I would definitely recommend the service to other employers.
