The benefits to your business
|Advise on degree apprenticeships available||We identify the most relevant learning options on offer for your business.|
|Supply information on potential providers||We do the research which is both impartial and comprehensive, providing you with all the options in a Training Plan.|
|Assess learner / employer requirements and identify the most suitable delivery route||Once we understand your need, we’ll find a provider that meets your exact requirements.|
|Identify existing workforce development opportunities and develop career pathways||Rather than struggling to recruit skilled staff, you can grow your own talent within your business.|
|Help you capitalise on the Apprenticeship Levy or identify potential funding sources||If you are a levy payer these funds can pay for higher and degree apprenticeship training. Employers who don’t pay the levy could put a member of staff through a degree costing £9000 and only pay £900 because the government co-invests.|
|Support with recruiting to degree apprenticeships||We can work with our providers to recruit and train higher level and degree apprentices.|

From 1 April 2017 all businesses with an annual pay bill of £3 million or more will be required to pay the new Apprenticeship Levy when it comes into effect. This payment will be made to HMRC via the PAYE process.
If you are one of the many businesses paying the Levy, Higher Futures can advise you on accessing this funding to train apprentices to a higher level. This can be done through the new Digital Apprenticeship System (DAS) which allows your business to purchase training from a provider.
If you’re a levy payer, Higher Futures can:
– Advise on how this will work in practice
– Assess current training provision to see how this can be used under the levy in future
– Plan future training progression pathways using the levy
– Look at new opportunities for training to fill skills gaps
– Facilitate the creation of new trailblazer standards with you and others in your industry
– Provide you with an overview of various training solutions to meet your needs
