You are invited to hear from our panel of experts on the benefits of harnessing sport leadership and management techniques developed for the Olympics and using them to address the challenges and behaviours found in the business environment. This event will be led by the Institute of Leadership & Management who undertook the research, and discussed with representatives from the academic, sport and business community, including:
- Kate Cooper, Head of Research, The Institute of Leadership and Management
Kate is a Senior Adviser in Leadership and Management and was formally a Subject Group Leader at a leading University Business School.
- Steven Treharne, Managing Partner, Mogers Drewett
A keen cyclist, Steven heads up Mogers Drewett, a legal firm with “it’s roots planted firmly here in the South West”.
- Sharron Davies, MBE, Olympic Silver and double Commonwealth gold medal swimmer
Sharron is well known both as a superb athlete and media personality, including as a ITV’s Gladiator, Olympic sports presenter and magazine feature writer.
- Ross Hall, Faculty of Life Sciences and Education, University of South Wales
Team Manager and Sport Psychologist with various amateur and professional team experience and he attended the 2008 and 2012 Paralympic and Olympic Games with GB squads.
- Gail Gibson, Award-winning business performance coach
